23rd National Diwali Celebration on Parliament Hill

A long-standing multicultural tradition in Canada’s Parliament since 1998, this year’s Diwali celebration included vibrant cultural performances, speeches, lighting of the Diwali Lamp, Indian cuisine, and traditional sweets.  Parliamentarians from all political parties joined by members of the diplomatic community and Indo-Canadians from across Canada.
