This year, Overseas Friends of India Canada (OFIC) participated in the Canada Summer Jobs Program and selected three participants for an eight-week employment term, from June 29 to August 23, 2026.
The first participant, Avein Porwal, worked under the guidance and supervision of Shiv Bhasker and Dr. Narinder Garg. The second participant, Muskaan Bansal, worked under the supervision of Dr. Narinder Garg. The third participant, Misha Sharma, was supervised by Mr. Rajesh Tyagi and Mr. Balasubramaniam Murali.
Upon successfully completing their employment term, each participant was presented with a Certificate of Completion. The certificates were signed by Dr. Narinder Garg, Exec Vice President of OFIC, and Shiv Bhasker, President of OFIC.
OFIC is pleased to have provided these young participants with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop new skills, and contribute to the organization’s activities and community initiatives.
