Festival of Vaisakh- Mela

The festival of Vaisakh Mela was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and a fun fair. About two hours of cultural and entertainment program was packed with songs, bhajan, geet, speeches, and many performances representing various states of India. Notably amongst them were Kathak, Bihu, Marathi folk, Punjabi folk, Bengali, and Bollywood.
J.Dr. Shefali Adhikari was MC of the evening. Shiv Bhasker, President of OFIC addressed the audience. His excellency Ajay Bisaria Ji High commission of India to Canada and local MP Sh. Chandra Arya Ji graced this event with their presence and addressed the gathering.
OFIC executive team facilitated HE Ajay Bisaria Ji on this occasion.
Dr. Narinder Garg gave a Vote of thanks.
A total of eight stalls were put up by the vendors. About 400 people attended the event.
