24th National Diwali celebration on Parliament Hill

We would like to invite you, your family, and friends to celebrate the 24th National Diwali on Parliament Hill. A long-standing multicultural tradition in Canada’s Parliament since 1998, this year’s Diwali celebration will include vibrant cultural performances, speeches, lighting of the Diwali Lamp, Indian cuisine, and traditional sweets. Parliamentarians from all political parties will be joined by members of the diplomatic community and Indo-Canadians from across Canada. The event will also be live-streamed on the OFIC You Tube channel.

Admission is Free. For security purposes, a government-issued ID is required to attend the event.
