19th National Diwali on Parliament Hill

Diwali known as the auspicious festival of lights, which represents the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil was celebrated with a special tribute to Late Hon. Deepak Obhrai P.C M.P.

The event was hosted by Overseas Friends of India (OFIC) & Deepak Obhrai Foundation & Canada India Foundation (CIF).

Venue: Sir John A. Macdonald Building (144, Wellington St. Ottawa).

Many dignitaries and members of parliament graced the occasion. There was pooja and live cultural performances. More that 550 people attended the event.
