17th National Diwali on Parliament Hill

Diwali popularly known as the festival of lights was celebrated on Oct 18 th under the inspiration and overall guidance of Hon. Deepak Obhrai P.C M.P. It was hosted by Overseas Friends of India (OFIC).

Venue: Sir John A. Macdonald Building (144, Wellington St. Ottawa)

Members of parliament from major political parties and other dignitaries graced the occasion. There was Laxmi pooja and artists gave beautiful cultural performances. More than 400 people attended the event.
